Hello and Thank You for your interest in H&M Reptiles.

Each of our reptile(s) that we take in have a different story of why they were rehome to us. We love reptiles & just like any dog, cat, bird, or person who needs help should be given a second chance in life. Since a child I was always curious when ot came to reptiles. By the age of 10 I had iguanas & by the age of 16 my parents garage was a zoo. There I had baby burms, balls, red tails, king snakes, hog-nose, corn snakes, large normal & albino burms, albino labyrinths, green anaconda, water & savannah monitors, iguanas, but my favorite of them all was a 17ft reticulated python. The first snake that I purchased was a 11/2 foot ball python named star. As for my wife she was NOT a fan of my snake, she wouldn't even touch it or get close to it. We have been together for 13 years & slowly but surely she got used to them & now we both have the same love for our reptiles. She keeps things going in our reptile room either helping with the cleaning, feeding, or handling when I'm at work. For a girl that was scared of a 11/2 foot ball to a girl whos favorite snake is a reticulated python she has come a long way. We worked for 4 different people who deal or dealt with reptiles owning their own little business. We been given chances & taken advantage of for wanting to work & learn more about  reptiles. I recall this time when we worked for a couple who told us to work for them & they would pay us by giving us a albino burm instead of money which it was when they had bearly came out so they were expensive & we were very young & without any money. We worked for them doing everything we were told to do, well they dissapeared when they made their money at the end of the month & never heared or saw them again. We have had good & bad experiences with  people but never hold a grudge or cared because we got to learn a little more from every single individual that we worked for or with. Now I have my own little zoo but I can keep it going all thanks to my wife & kids help & support. Yes even the kids at a very early age  started handling or dealing with mom & dads snakes. Now our dreams are to start a outreach program because reptiles have a bad reputation but the truth is they are very sweet animals to deal with when taken care of properly & when you know what your doing. We name each of our reptiles so they won't become just another snake or lizard but a new family member to our reptile growing collection. We love helping out people who can't no longer care for their reptile(s). We take them in & make sure that they are very well taken care of  as I would want someone to take care of my reptile(s) if I was rehoming them to someone else. We have nothing but respect for the owner for wanting a better home for their reptile(s) & making sure that they get it instead of not caring on the experience of the new owner & just wanting to make easy money on their long time baby. We don't judge, we understand that theirs different circumstances of why you need to rehome your baby just make sure that whoever you rehome them to will treat it with RESPECT & not like another pet.  They are more then a collection to us, they are our babies. We make sure that:

*Their enclosures are clean.

*Bowls have water.

*Get the attention they need.

Are well fed.

*They are warm or in good temperature depending on the weather and so much more.................................
